Alpha Cadet Academy ("we", "us") runs the website alphacadetacademy.com, a free demo test, and an online exam portal (website and mobile/desktop app) that prepares students of classes 6th, 7th and 8th for admission to Pakistan's PAF and military colleges. This page explains what information we collect, why, and what we do with it.
1. Information we collect
- Free demo visitors: name, phone number and e-mail address that the visitor types in; if the visitor chooses "Continue with Google", we receive only the visitor's Google name and e-mail address (nothing else from the Google account, such as contacts, files or passwords); the demo answers and score; and technical details such as IP address and device type.
- Enrolled students: name, roll number, class, contact details of the student and parent/guardian, photo, exam answers, marks, attendance and activity in the portal, and device information used to protect the account.
- Exam monitoring: to keep exams fair, the portal may capture camera photos/snapshots and basic device or location information during an exam, only with the permissions granted on the student's device.
- Inquiries: the details a parent or student submits through the admission/inquiry forms or WhatsApp.
2. How we use it
- to run exams, calculate and show results, and share progress with the student and parent/guardian;
- to verify who is taking a test (e-mail verification codes, Google sign-in, device checks) and to prevent cheating and misuse;
- to answer inquiries, contact families about admission, results and notices, and send notifications;
- to keep the service secure, make backups and fix problems.
We do not sell personal information and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
3. Who else handles the data
We use trusted service providers only to operate the service: Hostinger (web hosting and storage), Brevo (sending verification and notification e-mails), Google (sign-in with Google and, in the mobile app, phone notifications through Firebase Cloud Messaging). They process data on our behalf. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
4. How long we keep it
Student records are kept while the student is enrolled and afterwards for as long as needed for results, history and legal reasons. Demo records are kept only as long as needed to run and review the free demo and can be deleted on request.
5. Security
Passwords are stored in scrambled form, access to administration is protected by passwords and permissions, exam-monitoring photos are not publicly reachable, and we make regular backups. No online service can promise perfect security, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
6. Children
Our students are children. Student information is collected through enrollment by the parent/guardian or by us at their request, and is used only for their education and safety. Parents/guardians can ask to see, correct or delete their child's information at any time.
7. Your choices
You may ask us to access, correct or delete your information, or to stop contacting you, by writing to [email protected]. You can also withdraw camera or location permission in your device settings, although some exams may then not be possible.
8. Changes
We may update this policy; the date at the top shows the latest version.
